The hotel has a lot of potential, especially with the indoor pool and mini-golf area, although they were not operational during my visit. I appreciated the warm welcome from the front desk staff, who were very cordial. the manager, who also doubled as a bartender, created a friendly atmosphere. While the continental breakfast had limited options, the location of the hotel was convenient, close to various activities like golfing and shopping at the Tanger Outlet Mall. the Wi-Fi connection in public areas was a plus for staying connected. Overall, Suite Dreams Hotel had its charm despite its age. With some renovations and attention to detail, it has the potential to shine. If you're looking for a cozy and unique place to stay in Mattoon, this hotel could be a good option.
